Do you fill brand name or generic medications?
We can accommodate both brand name and generic. Typically most pharmacies fill generic brands unless a special request has been made to fill a name brand. If you would like a specific brand, please call us at 1-855-962-5198, and we will gladly help.
Can I have narcotics delivered to me with this program?
Yes, we offer narcotics in this program. You will have to sign for the package, and your doctor will need to directly call or fax us your prescription.
Do you ship insulin?
Yes, we can fill insulin. Since insulin needs to be at controlled temperatures, we have special cold packaging and ship it with overnight express shipping. If your prescription plan does not cover testers or needles, please call us at 1-855-962-5198 to set us a payment plan.
Do you offer medical marijuana in your program?
At this time we don’t offer shipment or delivery of Medical Marijuana. Please check back soon or call us toll-free at 1-855-962-5198 to check availability.
Can my doctor forward you my prescriptions?
Yes, we can receive prescriptions the same way your doctor sends them to your current pharmacy.
Does my prescription come with directions?
Yes, each prescription comes with detailed directions. We can also schedule a phone call to go over your medications with you and answer any questions you may have. You may also receive an occasional call or email asking for a time to schedule a discussion for your medications as we like to make sure you are taking your medication properly.
What if my new prescription is urgent and time-sensitive?
If you have been prescribed a medication that needs to be taken urgently, please go to your local pharmacy so you can start that medication as soon as possible. Short term refills are needed from time to time, and they need to be filled in a timely manner.
What if my doctor changes my dose to a refill cycle?
If your dose or refill cycle changes, please call us at 1-855-962-5198 and also have your doctor fax, call, or send us the updated info as soon as possible. This will enable us to make sure your new shipment has this new dose included.
Do you have access to my medical records from the hospital?
Yes. We are part of a program called ClinicalConnect that can access real-time hospital records if you need us to so we can fulfill your prescriptions.
Do you fill prescriptions two or three months out?
Typically, no. We like to help you have more control over your medications, dose changes, and new medications you might be prescribed. If you would like to refill medications for longer than one month at a time, please call us at 1-855-962-5198, and we can discuss this with you.
What if I’m going on vacation or will be away for a period?
If you’re going on vacation, you can call us to arrange alternative delivery options. We can send you more medication than usual for a particular month so you will have enough until you return from vacation. We also may be able to ship to a secondary address as long as it is within Ontario, Canada, and you will be present to sign for the package. We’re here to work with you in any situation you may have. Do I have to use the special packaging you offer?
No. At special request we can send you normal prescription bottles for your pills. Some medication like nasal sprays won’t be able to be packaged in the MyEasyDose system. These will come as you would normally receive them.
